My name is Oliver and I am your Strength Coach.
Welcome to my page!
At Strong For Life we help people of all ages get stronger on basic barbell lifts in a safe and effective way.
I used to be an ambitious, skinny little footballer, plagued by a series of injuries which prevented me from achieving the biggest dream of my life: turning professional.
My injuries had cost me - and my family - a lot of time, money, and frustration.
I quit playing football at the age of 21 and started a new career as a strength coach.
Wishing I knew back then what I know now, I feel priviledged to be able to pass my experience in professional strength coaching on to you.
Strength is undoubtedly the most important physical quality in our life, and had I developed it early enough in my career, I feel I would have avoided many injuries and progressed much further than I did.
Different forms of exercise come and go. New pieces of equipment, fads and workouts - you name it.
The only method which has provenly stood the test of time is strength training done with barbells. It allows us to infinitely progress by adding more weight to the bar over time, something which is exclusive to this type of training.
By getting stronger we are creating more resilient bodies, alleviate pain, improve our body shape, and increase the quality of our life.
In fact, physical strength is so paramount to our existence that it predicts how long we live.
